Identifying and implementing initiatives

Four-step process

Doab Development uses a four-step process to identify and implement new initiatives:
Step 1: Identify challenge

We listen closely to our associates, partners, clients, and the broader social-development community to identify large-scale social challenges facing the countries and communities in which we work that we believe we can resolve collectively through thoughtful collaboration.

Step 2: Gather input

We write concept notes, white papers, and research reports, as well as convene thought leaders and stakeholders to gauge interest and initial ideas for solving large-scale challenges. We then decide whether to work together on resolving the challenge.

Step 3: Develop strategy

We work with invested stakeholders on the project plan, including the proposed activities, roles and responsibilities, metrics of success, timeline, and required resources and seek the additional resources necessary to implement the project.

Step 4: Implement plan

Once the necessary resources are in place, we implement the plan and report on milestones, problems, and solutions along the way.

Launch initiatives

We have identified four initial initiatives that we we are launching at the start of Doab Development. Project plans, timelines, and metrics of success will follow.
